JEE Main V/S SRMJEE

Date:

Which exam is better is the most frequently posed query. Which course a student should take? In order for students to choose which of these two national-level entrance exams to take, this article aims to educate them on the examination and help them comprehend the distinctions between them.

Comparing career chances, the weight of the exam points, the validity of the exam, and other diverse variables can help you choose which exam is best for you. Although both tests are equally important, they each have their own benefits and drawbacks.

Anyway, this comparison between the two tests is provided.

JEE Main Exam

The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) was replaced by the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main (JEE-Main), an Indian computer-based test that is used to determine eligibility for admission to various technical undergraduate programs in engineering, architecture, and planning at colleges throughout the country. The National Testing Agency administers the exam for admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, etc. programs in prestigious technical institutions like the National Institutes of Technology (NIT) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIT), which are dependent on the JEE-Main rank. Twice a year, on average, it is conducted. The JEE exam will be conducted entirely online starting in 2019. (Computerized OMR test exam).

In the exam, there are only two papers: Paper 1 for B.E./B. Tech programmes and Paper 2 for B.Arch and B.Planning courses. A candidate may choose to take one or both papers. From 2018 onward, Paper 1 must be taken online mode, which is a computer-based test. An applicant is only allowed three examination attempts over the course of consecutive years.

JEE Main 2023 Registration will begin on December 20, 2023, according to the sources. There will be two sessions for the exam: one in January and one in April. In December 2023 (session 1) and March 2023, the application forms for JEE Main Session 2 will be available.

Exams will be administered in January 2023 (session 1) and April 2023 (session 2). From the application process to counselling, we have covered everything you need to know about JEE Main 2023 in this article.

Only those who register online will be considered. For JEE Main registration, there won’t be any other option. To prevent confusion later, it is encouraged that candidates review the qualifying requirements and application process in full before registering. The confirmation of a candidate’s registration won’t come until the fee has been paid and the confirmation page has been made available. The eligibility requirements for education, age, and state are the same as previously; nothing has changed.
